I am very excited to finally unveil a collaboration that has been in the works for quite some time. Sight Line Provisions was inspired by those who pursue outdoor passions while finding their Sight Line. One outdoor experience that has always intrigued me was the art of falconry. 

It is important to my design process to have a connection to the subject matter and to be sincere to my collections. When I began to discuss a birds of prey collection, I reached out to the experts. Adam Hein and Jared DiVincent of On The Fly Outfitters opened a fly shop in Brunswick, Georgia in 2017 that also uniquely specializes in offering authentic falconry hunts to the public. I knew that I had to see and experience a falconry hunt in person and was so excited to witness this ancient form of hunting with a bird of prey.

This past Fall I traveled to coastal Georgia for my first falconry experience. The anticipation was building as we met at the cabin before our first hunt and after a rundown of what we were to expect, we were off and walking through a misty, Georgia pine forest to first witness a Red tailed hawk in its element hunting squirrel. We also experienced a goshawk strike a pheasant and a peregrine falcon, the fastest animal on earth, stoop on a duck from high in the sky.

Having the opportunity to watch these birds of prey and their trainer, Adam, was truly an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. On The Fly Outfitters has curated an impressive list of experiences through their specialty and I was lucky enough to experience seeing multiple birds of prey in action. The icing on the cake was getting out on the water our last day in coastal Georgia to land my first Atlantic Redfish!
